If My People Will Pray

Bible Group Praying Together

I believe that it is so important to recognize and be aware of what we put into our spirit man. When we watch TV and movies, or read books that are filled with scenes of lust, curse words, and many forms of pornography, we can take all of that into our spirit man and we can become open to those sinful influences and desensitized to evil.

Who Are You in Agreement With?

You know, some Christians declare their Christianity with their mouth but may live a lifestyle that would speak otherwise. Their actions, in fact, scream of agreement―not with the Word of the living God, but with the powers of darkness, which we were warned would happen in the last days (see 2 Timothy 3:1-5).

God’s Talking to His People. Are We Listening?

God said in 2 Chronicles 7:14, “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

If there is sin in our lives and we want God to heal us, the first thing we should do is fall on our faces before Him and repent of the garbage and degradation we’ve allowed into our lives

And notice that God wasn’t talking about the devil’s crowd! He said, “If MY people will turn from their wicked ways…” He’s talking about those of us who follow Him!

The Time Is Now!

In these last days, we’ve got to follow God with all of our being. Watered-down Christianity should have no place in our lives. We’ve got to be in a place of prayer and a place of prayer covering. We have to have a Power Source greater than this world. And that Source is Jesus Christ of Nazareth, the Prince of Peace, King of kings, and Lord of lords. The Holy Spirit of God can rise up inside of us, and we can be a beacon of light to a dark and troubled world.
