Cherry Chocolate Cake
1 pkg chocolate cake mix
1 large can cherry pie filling
2 eggs, well beaten
1 tsp almond extract
1 cup sugar
5 Tbsp butter
1/3 cup milk
1 – 6 oz. pkg chocolate chips (semi-sweet)
First, fold cake mix, pie filling, eggs, and extract together. Pour into a large, oblong pan. Bake at 350° for 25-30 minutes.
Combine sugar, milk, and butter in saucepan and bring to a hard boil.
Remove from heat, cooling for one minute.
Add chocolate chips, stirring until melted.
Pour over warm cake.
