Crockpot Chicken & Veggies


1 (12-oz.) bag frozen onions

1 (8-oz.) bag frozen baby carrots

1 (8-oz.) pkg. sliced mushrooms

1/2 lb. small new potatoes, halved

4 skinless, bone-in chicken breasts, rinsed and patted dry

Salt and pepper (to taste

2 Tbsp. canola oil

1 (10.7-oz.) can cream of celery soup

1 packet onion soup mix

1 cup chicken broth

1/4 cup steak sauce



Put onions, carrots, mushrooms, and potatoes into slow cooker. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. In a large skillet over medium/high heat, brown meat on all sides in oil; when browned, place in slow cooker on top of vegetables. In a small bowl, stir together cream of celery soup, onion soup mix, chicken broth, and steak sauce. Pour over top of chicken breasts; cover and cook on high setting for 3-4 hours, or on low for 8-9 hours.
